IT'S A SEASON OF GRAND OPENINGS AT SERRANO

New neighborhoods, new models debut at master-planned community

Serrano in El Dorado Hills is welcoming several new neighborhoods in the coming weeks, kicking off a season of long-anticipated grand openings with exciting new models to tour. The Masters by JTS Communities will unveil its three new models on November 15, and more new builders and villages will follow soon.

Serrano, the 3,500-acre gated golf course community in the Sierra foothills, offers 1,000 acres of open space, miles of trails, highly rated on-site and adjacent schools and spectacular views. The community is also home to the private Serrano Country Club and Golf Course, one of the premier club facilities in the state.

Serrano's new home tour includes 33 models by seven different builders, priced from the low $300,000s to the $600,000s. The selection of homes is truly diverse with nearly 50 floorplans and a variety of architectural styles from which to choose.

The Masters is located across the street from Serrano Country Club and near a soon-to-open 5-acre Serrano park that will include a picnic area, playground and basketball court. The Masters offers one- and two-story homes ranging in size from 2,250 to 3,550 square feet, priced from the high $300,000s.

In addition to The Masters, these three Serrano neighborhoods are scheduled to debut during the coming months:

Southern Hills by Lucas and Mercier Development; 2,375 to 3,313 square feet; priced from the high $300,000s;
Eagle Pointe by Standard Pacific Homes; 3,277 to 4,190 square feet; priced from the mid $400,000s;
La Cima by Centex Homes; 2,450 to 3,280 square feet; priced from the low $400,000s.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Serrano Visitors Center for maps and information when they come to the community.

"The Visitors Center is a great place to start your Serrano home tour," says Jill Shannon, director of sales and marketing for Serrano. "You can get an overall view of the community, its 33 model homes and its many amenities. And our staff can save you time by pointing you in the right direction for the specific home design and price range you are interested in."

It's the amenities that make Serrano unique. And it's the amenities that are attracting families to the community and bringing them together as friends. At the heart of Serrano is a village green for community activities and concerts, and each village has a neighborhood park with tot lots and picnic areas.

Serrano's recreational lifestyle is enhanced by miles of completed trails used by runners, walkers and bikers. The paved paths wind through Serrano's 1,000 acres of open space and restored wetlands, linking the villages, neighborhoods and parks.

In addition to the 18-hole championship golf course, Serrano Country Club offers fine and casual dining, as well as a variety of social events and sports activities. The Club's newly expanded fitness center, now being managed by Savvy Fitness of Folsom, offers a variety of fitness and health services.

Serrano's schools include Silva Valley Elementary, Oak Meadow Elementary and Rolling Hills Middle School. Oak Ridge High School is adjacent to the community. All of the schools have received high academic rankings and are recognized for their excellent educational and sports programs.

Serrano's home tour also includes these neighborhoods, with one- and two-story homes ranging from 1,752 to 4,900 square feet:
