About Year-Round Public Schools in or near Serrano

Year-round schools operate on "tracks" -- staggered attendance schedules for different groups of students that include short breaks throughout the year. These shorter breaks are usually about three months apart, rather than one long traditional summer break. Most year-round schools have two or more tracks, which are color-coded (e.g., the "red" track or the "blue" track.) Track calendars are posted on the school Web sites.
